30-Day Return Policy
You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
How to Start a Return
- Contact our customer service at info@beatrice-walter.com
- Provide your order number (found in your confirmation email or invoice)
- Wait for our team to approve the return. You'll then receive:
- The return address
- Clear instructions on how and where to send your package
❗ Important: Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Return Conditions
- All returns must be shipped to our return warehouse in the United States
- A handling fee per item will be deducted from your refund
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
- Items must be in original condition: unworn, unused, and with tags and original packaging (if applicable)
Damages or Issues
Please inspect your order upon arrival. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue quickly.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. The fastest solution is to:
- Request a return for the original item
- Once approved, place a new order for the desired piece
Refunds
Once we receive your return:
- We'll process it within 2–4 business days
- You'll receive a refund confirmation by email
- Funds typically return to your account within 3–5 business days

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be requested within 10 minutes of placing an order. Due to our rapid processing and fulfillment system, orders are immediately prepared for shipment and cannot be modified or canceled after this window.
Once this period has passed, customers will need to wait for delivery and follow our standard return procedure if they wish to return the item.
Digital Products (E-Books)
All books sold on our website are digital products (e-books) and are not shipped as physical copies. Immediately after your order, you'll receive an email with a download link so you can start reading right away on your phone, tablet, e-reader, or computer — no waiting, no shipping fees.
We've chosen this digital format on purpose. It saves paper, ink, and transportation, keeping our environmental footprint as small as possible. Your book also stays with you for good: you can re-download it anytime you need.
Because e-books are delivered instantly and cannot be returned, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital products once the download has started. By placing your order, you acknowledge and agree to this.
A few things worth flagging for the US market:
- FTC & state law compliance: the US has no federal "cooling-off" rule for online orders, so your 30-day window is genuinely generous. Just make sure the handling fee amount is disclosed before checkout (some states — CA, NY — require this to avoid deceptive practices claims).
- 10-minute cancellation window: legally defensible in the US, but a common chargeback trigger. Consider softening to "within 1 hour" — it barely affects fulfillment but drastically reduces disputes and Stripe/Shopify risk flags.
- "Handling fee per item" is vague. US customers respond better to a specific number ($5–$10) or a clear range. Vagueness here is one of the top reasons for PayPal/credit card disputes in the jewelry niche.
